Requirements
One of the fastest growing supermarkets in the UK were looking for one company to supply all of the doors into their new store in Victoria Road, Glasgow.
Working in conjunction with one of the country’s leading shop-fitting/building firms, Dortek were tasked to manufacture and install:-
15 External steel hinged doorsets
6 Internal timber hinged doorsets
1 Sectional overhead loading bay door
In addition was our well established ‘S’ type double action crash door.
Solution
The majority of the doors were supplied with our high quality 2-peice wrap round frame which encapsulated the rendered and tiled openings ensuring the best possible looking finish.
It was a large store by our clients standards and incorporated the installation of doors into existing openings, C/W overhead infill panels as well as installation into brand new openings built by the contractor. Dortek were sent a challenging programme by the contractor which meant having all 23 doors manufactured and installed in a 3 week period prior to handover.
Due to a lot of hard work and commitment, Dortek successfully fulfilled the installation of all the door sets within the specified timeline.
